I am SaiDON Richardson but most people call me Sai.  I am a self-taught, 24-year-old music producer from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I began learning music production at the age of 14. I currently own and operate Gated Community Studios, a music recording studio in Tallahassee, Florida. 

I have production placements for YNW Melly, (which became RAA certified gold), Bossman DLow, Loe Shimmy and NoCap among many other artists. I take inspiration from Pro Era, Odd Future,  and Hiatus Kaiyote due to their influence over my upbringing.

Accomplishments

  • Creator of the Saicology Music Series, an annual showcase of artists performing over Saidon’s beats. Saicology 1 (2018), Saicology 2 (2019), Saicology 3 (2020)
  • Produced records for more than 20 artists before the age of 20 years old, available on all platforms
  • Produced More Pain, Rags, Weak and Rolling Loud, all songs with more than 500,000 streams on Spotify
  • Collaborated with team of producers in the development of Chandelier Music Team
  • Founder of Hip-Hop Collective – Gated Community

Education

Saidon graduated from Dillard Center for the Arts Music Magnet Program in 2018 and enrolled in Florida A&M University’s music program in Fall 2018 and dropped out to open his own music recording studio.
